Description
Used for the symptomatic relief of acute and chronic diarrhea. Helps control symptoms of diarrhea associated with bowel disorders.

Dosage
Adults & children 12 yrs old & above:
Take 2 capsules initially, followed by 1 capsule after each loose or watery stool. Maximum of 8 capsules per day. Adjust dose until 1-2 normal solid stools per day are obtained. If symptoms persist, consult the doctor.
Precautions
Caution use in patients with hepatic dysfunction, dysentery, and those who should avoid constipation. Give oral replacement fluids as first line of treatment for dehydration due to diarrhea. Not recommended for use in children below 12 years old.
Side Effects
Dry mouth, abdominal pain, distention or discomfort, nausea, vomiting, flatulence, dyspepsia, and constipation. Rarely, drowsiness or dizziness and urinary retention.
Contraindications
Do not give to patients with allergy to loperamide or to any ingredient in the product, to children below 12 years old, to pregnant or breastfeeding women, to patients with constipation or whom constipation should be avoided, and to those with swollen abdomen or abdominal pain, acute dysentery, colitis, meningitis, or history of liver disease.
