Description
Symptomatic treatment of acute cough of any origin. Used for cough sedation before and after operation.
Available as sustained-release tablet.

Classification
Cough Suppressants
Dosage
Adults: Take 2-3 tablets daily every 8 or 12 hours.
Adolescents over 12 years old: Take 1 or 2 tablets daily.
Tablet to be swallowed whole, do not chew or crush. Follow with adequate liquid.
Precautions
Caution use in pregnancy and lactation. Avoid concomitant use with other cough expectorants. May impair ability to drive or operate machinery.
Side Effects
Rarely dizziness, nausea, diarrhea & skin rash.
Contraindications
This product should not be used by patients with known allergy to butamirate or to any of its components.
