Description
Used in the symptomatic management of pain, fever, and other aches and pain associated with colds and flu such as toothache, headache, and sore throat.

Classification
Analgesic/ Antipyretic
Dosage
Adults: Take 1-2 tablets every 4-6 hours. Maximum dose of 8 tablets per 24 hour period.
Children 6-12 yrs old: Give half to 1 tablet (250-500 mg) 3-4 times daily as required.
Do not exceed 10 days for pain or 3 days for fever. If symptoms persist, consult the doctor.
Precautions
Do not exceed recommended dose. Caution use in patients with impaired kidney functions in patients taking liver medications. May cause liver damage in excessive amount or prolonged use. Avoid concomitant use with other products containing paracetamol. May interact with blood-thinning medications or anticoagulants.
Side Effects
Occasionally, skin rash and other allergic reactions; Anorexia, abdominal pain; Hematologic reactions including thrombocytopenia and agranulocytosis.
Contraindications
This product should not be given to patients with allergy to paracetamol (acetaminophen) or to any of its ingredients. Not intended for long-term use in patients with anemia, cardiac or pulmonary disease, and hepatic or severe renal disease. Do not give to patients receiving chloramphenicol.
